Welcome to Appalachian Windows Doors and More. We believe in honest pricing, clear communication, and dependable workmanship. These terms outline our mutual expectations for estimates, custom orders, installations, and warranty coverage so you can proceed with confidence.
Estimates and payment schedule
Written estimates provided by Appalachian Windows Doors and More are valid for 30 days from the issue date. Due to potential material cost fluctuations, pricing may be adjusted for proposals accepted after this 30-day window.
To schedule your project and secure materials, an upfront deposit is required. The remaining balance becomes due upon the final completion and inspection of your installation. Specific payment schedules and milestones are outlined in detail within each customer contract.
Custom orders and cancellations
Because replacement windows and doors are manufactured to custom architectural measurements specifically for your home, custom product orders cannot be restocked once sent to production.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your installation, please contact us immediately. Please note that deposits may become non-refundable once custom materials have been placed on your behalf with manufacturers. We strive to be as accommodating as possible when adjusting installation timelines.
Warranties and homeowner care
We treat every home like our own and deliver installations meant to last for decades. Every installation is backed by our own workmanship warranty in addition to the extensive manufacturer warranties covering the windows and doors themselves.
